Set in beautiful downtown Greenville, SC, llyn strong fine jewelry opened its doors in 1989, moving to its current location in 1992. A classically contemporary studio, the atmosphere reflects art and creativity with an eclectic range of handmade jewelry and decorative art glass. Featuring limitless combinations of precious metals, stones, pearls and other material, the works displayed include llyn’s own custom pieces as well as designs from over 25 skilled international artisans.

llyn’s love affair with the 1901 building began directly after purchase. As she peeled back tape and paper from the walls, she uncovered the name of a former business: “Strong Studio,” a local photographer who also happened to be her ex-husband’s father. While the store is 100% reflection of llyn’s artistic flair, she felt it important to hold on to noteworthy historical elements, including the slogan from Virginia Dare imbedded onto the terrazzo outside: “For those who care – Virginia Dare.”

llyn and her husband live in a renovated loft above her gallery where she displays decorative art glass to give clients the opportunity to see pieces in a home environment.
