Each brings a unique creative approach, always thinking outside the box. While they collaborate as a team; make no mistake, each is considered family.
An award-winning jewelry artist, llyn made her first piece of jewelry in 1972, which spawned her 30-year career as a renowned fine jeweler. She works with natural-colored gemstones, precious metals and inspirations around her to create unique, timeless pieces with a distinct artistic touch. A jewelry artist, mother, daughter and business owner, llyn is passionate about her life’s calling and her works embrace material, techniques and traditions of the ancient and recent past while exploring forms and uses relevant to the present and future.
Tanya grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA and earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in sculpture at the Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Through an internship with a jewelry designer, Tanya found her calling as a goldsmith. Inspired by a love of the outdoors and its treasures, Tanya works diligently to translate this inspiration into her work at llyn strong fine jewelry, where she produces llyn’s designs.
Paola was born in Colombia, South America and grew up in South Carolina. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Retail & Fashion Merchandising. An expert relationship-builder, Paola uses her knowledge of jewelry design to assist clients in selecting the perfect piece to match any occasion or style. Paola is often the first face to greet clients as they enter the gallery and offers top-notch customer service and assistance. Paola’s love of jewelry has been inherited by her four-year-old daughter Isa.
Sydney was born in Greenville, SC and eventually moved to Charleston, SC to attend and play soccer at the College of Charleston. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, with a concentration in Photography. After graduating, Sydney went on to coach soccer to kids aging from 10 to 18 and was the Assistant Coach for the College of Charletson Women’s Soccer team. Sydney lived in Charleston for 10 years before moving back to Greenville to work for her mom, llyn. She plans on learning all the different aspects of the jewelry business from sales to learning how to make and one day design.
Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, Brandy translates all of llyn’s design sketches in to viable 3D models for producion. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Savannah College of Art and Design with a minor in Metals and Jewelry in Savannah, Gerogia, Brandy also is very interested in Woodworking, and pretty much learning how anything else is made, and possibley applying that to jewelry or fashion. Currently living in Brooklyn, New York, Brandy loves to travel and observe people, their styles, and how they express themselves in what they where.
