We offer a full range of repairs completed in house by our master jeweler including (but not limited to) restringing, soldering, welding, stone setting, prong retipping and rebuilding, ring sizing, and rhodium plating. Due in part to our specialty in custom work we are often able to complete repairs that other stores are unwilling to do. As each piece is different the best way to determine the cost of a repair is to bring it by our store in downtown Greenville, SC for an assessment.

Jewelry Cleaning

We offer complimentary cleaning on any piece purchased in the store, and will clean other pieces for a small fee. We are usually able to complete cleaning while you wait, but if you have a lot of items we may require additional time.

All appraisals are done by our in house certified Graduate Gemologist, Sydney Strong, also known as the Doc of Rocks. Appraisals for insurance purposes are included with all custom work and jewelry purchases over $1000.

To have other jewelry appraised there is a $125 fee and a 3 week lead time. Though we have to keep your jewelry during this time in order for our Graduate Gemologist to fully assess the piece, it does not leave the store.

Best Practices

We do not recommend sleeping, swimming, or exercising in your jewelry.

Taking your rings off at the end of the day is a good way to keep track of how they fit. While we can cut rings off your finger, it is better to have them re-sized before they are stuck.

Your jewelry will accumulate oils and dirt with wear.  Regular cleaning is the best way to preserve it’s beauty. We recommend having your jewelry professionally cleaned and checked every 6 months, or at the very least, once a year.

In addition to cleaning, keeping your jewelry like new requires regular maintenance. Examples include but are not limited to restringing necklaces, tightening stones, and rebuilding parts that have worn.
