“ARTVILLE”

The American Artisan Festival, originally created and produced by Nancy and Alan Saturn, has been held in the same space (The Park at the Parthenon) and on the same weekend (Father’s Day weekend in June) for the last 40+ years. The festival brought craftsmen from all over the country to Nashville, TN and Nashville embraced the festival and its artists for all those years.
Today, Samantha Saturn, one of Nancy and Alan’s daughters, and her partner, Jack Davis of Good Neighbor Festivals, is taking The American Artisan Festival to newer heights. It is now part of “ARTVILLE” which is a three-day public arts festival in Wedgewood-Houston/Chestnut Hill.
The show dates are Friday September the 29th through Sunday October 1st.
The American Artisan Festival portion of Artville is on Chestnut Street, weaving through the murals and public art installations. The festival still features 100 high- quality fine art, craft, furniture, mixed-media and of course jewelry!

The festival will continue its tradition of hosting live music throughout the weekend, which will be in the Outfield next to The Nashville Warehouse Company. There will also be a wide selection of delectable food trucks, beverages, and several opportunities for kids’ art activities.
